Beverley’s Men Win Team Prize At Kirkbymoorside 10k

Beverley Athletes were amongst over 400 runners who completed the 13th annual Kirkbymoorside 10k last Sunday. The course was rural and challenging with long, steep hills.

Beverley AC won first team prize in the male competition. Mark Dalton was the first Beverley home in 37:36 in 7th position overall and the first V50 to finish. He was closely followed by Mark Dawson in 38:57 and juniors Harry Powell and Connor Spilsbury; who finished the course in 39:13 and 39:36 respectively to secure well deserved personal bests and the first male team prize.

Juniors Dayna Arnott and Kelly Dawson completed their first 10k. Arnott who is following in her older sister and brothers footsteps completed the course in 52:48 and Dawson who is following in her dad and sister’s footsteps completed the course in 52:52.
