Wardill Scores As Rovers Beat Broncos At MS3 Craven Park

Hull Kingston Rovers U16s beat the London Broncos 28 – 24 at the MS3 Craven Park this weekend.

The match was of particular interest to local Rugby League fans with Joe Wardill of the Beverley Braves making his third appearance in Rovers shirt.

Wardill started the game at full back and also scored a try in the match. The youngster said;

“It is a brilliant experience to play on the first team pitch and it gives young players a great chance to feel what it is like to be a first team player which is my dream.”

Wardill is not the only Beverley Braves player to play for Rovers, Harry Inman also made a second half appearance for the red and whites.
