Beverley Photographic Club and Beverley & District Art Group are joining forces to show their members’ work in an exhibition being held at Beverley Minster.
The exhibition will be held from Saturday 17th to Saturday 24th August open from 9.00 to 5.30 on weekdays and Saturdays (except during services) and from 12.00 to 5:30 on Sunday.
Beverley Photographic Club welcomes both new and experienced photographers to share their pictures and learn from each other.
The club meets weekly on Tuesday evenings from September to March at Longcroft School in Beverley.
There are guest presentations, competitions and practical sessions. During the summer the group haa a social meeting once a month in a local pub.
Beverley & District Art Group has been running for over 50 years, with members representing the full range of abilities and using a variety of media.
Over the winter months they meet on Wednesday evenings, also at Longcroft School, and once a month there is a tutorial visit by a local artist.
From May to August there are evening and full day outings to different venues.
Both groups draw members from Beverley and its immediate area, and new members are very welcome.
