Hull Kingston Rovers U19s were beaten 22-10 by Hull FC U19s at the MS3 Craven Park.
Rovers had a four-point advantage going into the break leading the match 16-12 but Hull FC hit back hard in second half to clinch the win.
At the end of the match players needed to be separated as tempers flared. Rovers U19s have two fixtures remaining this season, both games away from home.
Next week, they travel across the Pennines to take on the Leeds Rhinos, and they will end their 2013 season against Widnes Vikings.
Hull FC has three games left. The next match for them is this Saturday when they take on the Sheffield Eagles at Bishop Burton College.
