Last Sunday, around 50 runners and walkers took part in the annual celebration of the circular Beverley Beaver Trail routes.
Members of the public and runners from other clubs joined athletes from Beverley Athletic Club, which organises the event.
This was the 15th anniversary of the routes, which were founded by Beverley AC members and sponsored by Adidas and East Riding of Yorkshire Council. They start and finish at Beverley Leisure Centre, taking in local rural footpaths, bridleways and the Westwood.
Participants had a choice of 5, 10 or 13 mile trails, with the longest trail taking runners out as far as Risby and Walkington before heading back into Beverley.
The trails can be run or walked all year, and route maps and descriptions are available from the Beverley AC website, www.beverleyac.com
