Tickets are selling fast. The wine and cheese list is sorted, and the finishing touches are being put together for what is promising to be one of the social events of the year in Beverley.

As well as the event attracting some rather well-known local faces, Festival organisers have been getting inspiration and tips from festival organisers of the Beverly Hills Wine Festival in LA.

Along with sharing festival names, there are some other striking similarities between Beverley’s first wine festival and the star-studded event in LA. Beverley is becoming well used to celebrities visiting and living in the town with reports recently of Daniel Craig looking at moving to the area and other Hollywood celebrities already living in the town.

Festival organisers are hoping to capture a little of that glamour when they open the doors to the First Beverley Wine Festival on Friday 29th of November.

Organisers will be busy decorating the Masonic hall ready for the opening. Local acoustic acts, including Latin inspired Farino will be playing and volunteers will all be sporting the exclusive festival pinnys, all adding to the atmosphere of what organisers hope will be a great event.

Beverley Wine Festival is also being sponsored by global super brand Infinity. And festival organisers are delighted to have the prestige of Infinity’s support for the first festival.

Steven Smith from Inanity Hull said;

“Infinity Hull is delighted to be the main sponsor of the first Beverley Wine festival. We are very excited to be involved with this great event this is a special time for us with the launch of our Infiniti Q50, and we hope to have the Q50 along over the festival weekend for guest to see.”

Festival Organiser James Harper said;

“The Beverly Hills festival is on a far greater scale to the Beverley Wine festival, but with not that many wine festivals in the UK, we have looked to our friends in the US for some inspiration!”

“We want the event to feel rather special for our guests and time, and preparation is going into making the event one to remember. Our wine list is now sorted, and it’s interesting to see that the two festivals even have a few of the same wines on offer.”

“Along with a really cracking wine list people attending the event will get to try some of the best cheeses on offer all chosen to perfectly match the wines.”

The Beverley Wine and Cheese festival is taking place on the 29th and 30th of November and the beautiful Masonic Hall on Trinity L With tickets selling fast and only, a limited number of tickets available – guests are encouraged to buy tickets soon to avoid disappointment, tickets whilst available can be purchased from Vanessa’s Deli and Cafe.
