Longcroft School Year 11 students teamed up with local businesses to deliver a night of prom fashion.
A number of students took to the stage to showcase prom gowns from Little Bird Boutique. On the night the girls hair and makeup was done by Chic Boutique Salon.
Sarah Viles from Chic said;
“We were more than happy to be involved and support the girls as they look to raise funds that will be put to towards their end of year prom.”
Emma Bird from Little Bird Boutique said;
“We were very happy to be involved, the girls all looked lovely in the dresses we supplied for the show.”
“In store we have a selection of prom dresses and keep a diary to ensure the same dress does not appear at the same prom.”
“Alicia did a brilliant job in organising last night and we hope that all the girls have a lovely prom at the end of their school year.”
Event organiser Alicia Baron said;
“The night was a real success, we are trying to raise funds so we can have a better DJ and decorate the room for our prom on the 2nd July.”
“Tonight gave the girls a chance to try out some prom dresses that they may choose to wear to the prom.”
“We will be holding more events in the lead up to the prom, we will be packing bags and also holding a performance night.”
“Well done to all of the girls, they looked gorgeous and I couldn’t have done it without them!”
