The Beverley Lions held their annual Christmas concert at the Beverley Memorial. Over 200 people were in the hall to enjoy music and a light hearted comedy sketch.
The stars of the show were Westfield Junior Choir, the youngsters were accompanied by Mrs Redhead on the piano. The youngsters sang a selection of carols as well and performing a song for the first time that was written especially for them.
There was also a raffle held with prizes donated from various businesses in the area with ‘Livwell’ of Hull getting a special mention for donating a substantial amount of cakes as prizes. This was the last event the Beverley Lions will hold at the Beverley Memorial Hall before the doors are closed for the regeneration of the venue.
