This is a sight many residents of Beverley wanted to see last week, a gritting lorry gritting the side roads around Beverley. The winter weather has been the worst that many have seen in many years not only in Beverley but across the rest of the UK.
Residents in Beverley have contacted HU17.net and other local media sources to express their anger at the lack of salting and gritting which has left pathways and roads in Beverley extremely dangerous.
With the possibility of more snow and freezing temperatures to come East Riding of Yorkshire Council will have their work cut out to ensure the roads and pathways of Beverley remain ice free.
