Bountiful Beverley : A New Beer For Beverley

Organisers of the Beverley Real Ale Festival have confirmed the name of a new beer for Beverley.

Bountiful Beverley, a light fruity session ale was named by Rob Snaith from Driffield. The beer is expected to be a big hit at this year’s event that takes this weekend.

James Harper, organiser of the Beverley Real Ale Festival said;

“The beer naming competition has been great and there has been some really strong competition from names that celebrated the town’s heritage to more playful food names. However, for us, Bountiful Beverley just summed it up.”

“Bountiful Beverley gets to the heart of what Beverley has to offer in terms of its now bountiful offering of all thing’s food and drink coupled with oodles of charming restaurants, pubs, markets and festivals.”

With a little less than a week to go before the festival doors open to the 4th Beverley Real Ale Festival all the last-minute preparations, with punters set for another fantastic beer and cider drinking experience.

James added;

“Ticket sales have again been great, and we are expecting yet another sell out. We will have some tickets available at the door, but we advise people to get there early to avoid disappointment.”

“We expect the new Bountiful Beverley ale to be the first to go. So if you want to try it, we are opening for a special Friday afternoon session 1.00pm – 6. 00pm.”

Town Clerk Helen Watson said she was looking forward to trying a glass of Bountiful Beverley at the event. She commented;

“I am looking forward to trying the winning Bountiful Beverley Beer, what a wonderful name. We wish James and Paul all the best for the opening night on Friday. The Beverley Town Council Food Festival is delighted to be working with the Beverley Ale Festival again.”

The Beverley Real ale Festival takes place from the 2nd to the 4th of October, and the Beverley Food Festival takes place on the 4th of October.

Tickets for the event can be purchased from Beverley Tourist Information and Beer in a Bottle.
