Inspiration at the Old Granary was packed full of women who were there to enjoy a performance of the ‘Vaginal Monologues’ and help raise money for Hull Women’s Aid.
Sue Kirkman mother of Annie the lady behind the fund raisers said;
“We have had such a good response it’s been unbelievable, we had no idea some many people would want to come and see it and we are really looking forward to our last show at the Beverley Arms Hotel.”
The show which has been performed at the Beverley Arms and at Inspiration at the Old Granary is expected to raise around £2,000 through ticket sales and a raffle that local business’s were only too willing to donate prizes for.
Annie, only one of three actors in the cast is set to leave the UK later this year and work abroad as an entertainer over the summer was also delighted with the how everything has turned out. With just one public performance left and a private show tonight all of the cast will get well deserved break.
