Hull-based Dead Bod Films’ The Bagpipe Maker’s Baby has won Best Short Film at the Welsh SeeMor Film Festival.
The film stared East Yorkshire actors, Richard Avery, Annie Kirkman and Gordon Meredith. Written and produced by Julian Woodford.the 30-minute short film was directed by Chris Hopkin.
A pop-up theatre production, ‘The Memory Project’ will be touring East Riding libraries in November.

It’s Different For Girls, a brand new musical by local all-female theatre company She Productions, is inspired by Hull’s own pioneering 1960s girl band, Mandy & the Girlfriends.

Two exciting new exhibitions will open at the Treasure House in Beverley on Saturday, 15 September.
