Beverley racers, James Westmoreland (Dickies British Supersport Championship), Jordan Rushby (Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship), and Peter Founds (rider) (Knutsford) / Adam Christie (passenger) (Beverley) competed in the final rounds of 2018 in their respective championships around the Brands Hatch GP Circuit in Kent.
Beverley racers, Jordan Rushby (Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship), James Westmoreland (Dickies British Supersport Championship), competed in round ten of their respective championships at Oulton Park in Cheshire.
Saturday saw the pairing compete in qualifying, where Rushby placed the Alliance Steel Racing BMW twenty ninth on the grid (1min 41.4secs), while Westmoreland placed the Gearlink Kawasaki eleventh (1min 39.8secs). Later in the day Rushby competed in race one of the weekend run over fourteen laps, with Westmoreland completing the Supersport Sprint race over 12 laps.
Kingston Upon Hull’s Callum Ward enjoyed another consistent Manx GP tenure, as the amiable Yorkshireman continued his accomplished progress around the fabled Mountain Course.
After a turbulent practice week for all competitors, due to persistent inclement weather plus circumstances outside of event organisers control, race week for YZF R6 Yamaha mounted Ward began with the four lap Mylchreests Junior race.

Beverley Brothers Sam and Adam Christie competed in round five of the “FIM Sidecar World Championship” at the TT Circuit Assen in the north of Holland. Commonly known as the “Cathedral of Speed” the 4.542 km circuit is a favorite with all racers, fast and flowing.
Arriving in Holland, driver Sam with passenger Adam had a nice surprise before they even took to the track. At a previous meeting at the “Sachsenring” in Germany Sam and Adam finished two races in fourth place.
Round seven of the British Superbike Championship was held around Thruxton, the UK’s fastest circuit, and notoriously known not to be kind to tyre wear.

Qualifying saw him place the Kawasaki twenty third on the grid with a 1min 26.4sec lap for the first of the weekend’s three races.

As the lights went green for the first race held on Saturday ‘Westy’ made a place up off the start and remained eighteenth until lap three before moving into seventeenth place.
