Hengate to Remain Open This Sunday

Road reconstruction works at Hengate, Beverley, which were scheduled to be carried out this Sunday 1 November have been called off because of the bad weather forecast. The roadworks, which include resurfacing around half of the junction on New Walkergate/Manor Road at the end of Hengate, started on Sunday, 11 October and were scheduled for seven consecutive Sundays. A new exhibition “Nature’s Fairest Forms” will go on show at Beverley Art Gallery between 24 October – 28 November. The exhibition brings together the work of two artists, Dryden Rooney and Barbara Wood. Hengate Works Cause Traffic Mayhem
