Hengate Road Closure

Road reconstruction works are scheduled to be carried out  on Sundays starting later this month. The work will start on Sunday , 11th October and will be undertaken on seven consecutive Sundays except  8th November 2009 which is Remembrance Sunday. Yesterday evening Beverley was hit by a rain storm, these pictures were taken on Manor Road near the junction of St Mary’s Walk where the road was completely flooded, cars seemed to cope though the pedestrians had a much tougher journey home.
