New Mountain Bike Project Launches at Longcroft School

Neil McGowan, from HMP Everthorpe, will be presenting Shane Thurlow (Beverley Extended Schools Coordinator) with several mountain bikes for the project, which have been stolen and recovered, but not claimed by their owners. The inmates at the prison, under the supervision of staff, have worked on the bikes to ensure they are road worthy and in full working order.  In return, they gain a recognised qualification for undertaking this work….
