NHS launches new oral health campaign in Humber and North Yorkshire

NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is launching a new campaign aimed at improving dental health across the region.

Targeting parents of children aged seven and under, teenagers and young adults, the campaign seeks to encourage parents and carers to introduce healthy teeth habits from a young age and persuade younger adults on the importance of oral health and how to improve it.

Three sports clubs in South Cave have been awarded more than £395,000 by East Riding of Yorkshire Council for improvements to their clubhouses and equipment.

South Cave Bowls Club received £19,700.00 from commuted sums for building works at the club, with the club contributing £163.26 towards the £19,863.26 total project cost.

Yvette Marston, of Byron Street, Goole, left books, plant pots, a paint tin, some metal and wood, and black bin bags containing a carpet and household waste in a pile next to a rubbish bin in the access road between Milton Street and Byron Street, Goole.
