The Audience Agency’s Digitally Democratising Archives project funded by £4500 funded the East Riding Blockdown (ERB) project, thought to be the first of its kind in the country.

A partnership between rural internet champions Quickline Communications and telecoms infrastructure provider CellnexUK has enabled 53,000 homes and businesses to access lightning-fast broadband in its first year.

Quickline and Cellnex UK joined forces last year in order to install lightning-fast broadband equipment in isolated parts of the north of England, including remote communities in the North Yorkshire moors, using Cellnex UK’s towers and infrastructure.

Beverley suffered a defeat in the local derby as they were beaten 50-36 by Hullensians. The Beavers had hoped for better ahead of the game but crashed to their third consecutive defeat.
