Commitment To Armed Forces Community Earns Local NHS Prestigious Silver Award

On the eve of Armed Forces Day – a national celebration of the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community – NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is proud to announce it has been awarded the prestigious Silver Award in the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).

This accolade – an upgrade on last year’s Bronze Award – is a testament to the ICB’s “unwavering commitment to supporting the armed forces community”, firmly aligning with the values and principles of the Armed Forces Covenant.
