Free Travel To COVID Vaccine Appointments

Bus company East Yorkshire is working with East Riding of Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Group and East Riding of Yorkshire Council to allow people free bus travel to and from their COVID-19 vaccine appointments in the East Riding.

Around 9 out of 10 people in the East Riding of Yorkshire region have had at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, but there are over 28k people in the East Riding of Yorkshire who are still eligible to come forward for their booster vaccination.

Plans for business units and a drive-through coffee shop that could create more than 30 jobs have been submitted by developers working on the second phase of a project to regenerate a derelict site in East Yorkshire.

Lovel Capital Projects is aiming to add the facilities to its proposed development of a filling station and convenience store, plans for which were cleared last month after a planning inspector overturned the refusal by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
