The projects must meet the criteria of bringing benefits to the community. Throughout October – December 2020 the grant scheme made £2m of support available to local projects focused on children and young people.

A sign thanking our Armed Forces in the East Riding for their work during the Covid-19 outbreak has been installed by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

The metal sign, featuring the words ‘THANK YOU TO OUR ARMED FORCES’ is designed to be an uplifting message of appreciation to the armed forces which will be visible coming from their base in Leconfield as they help with the Covid-19 outbreak, whilst also continuing to train personnel to serve and protect the country.
