A single goal from Nicky Clarke was enough to ensure AFC Tickton Ladies got 2013 off to a winning start at Longcroft School. The 1 – 0 win over Courts City FC lifts AFC Tickton Ladies to seventh place in the East Riding County Womens Football League.
AFC Tickton Girls return to action this weekend as they faced Hessle in their final pre season friendly. Low on numbers and with key players missing through injury AFC Tickton were beaten though manager Carisa Mitcheson was delighted that the team showed spirit and battle on to score! Tickton Girls U14 finally got back in action having not kicked a ball since November. The visitors, Hessle Girls, beat Tickton 4 – 0 though the Tickton coaching team were just glad to be playing again.
