New Paths Music is delighted to announce the programme for its third annual festival in Beverley, Yorkshire, running from 5th to 8th April 2018.
The line-up of 40 events and 35 artists features song, chamber music, organ events, family concerts, late-night events, an outreach programme, a world premiere, talks, and a ceilidh.
Next month sees the return to Beverley, Yorkshire, of the New Paths music festival.
The inaugural festival took place in Beverley last year and immediately established New Paths as one of the most innovative classical musical festivals in the country.
East Riding County Choir will be performing Elijah by Felix Mendelssohn in Beverley Minster on Saturday 3 May at 7.30pm. The soloists will be Sally Harrison (soprano) Fiona Kimm (contralto) James Edwards (tenor) and Robert Rice (baritone).
Slightly later than usual this year because of the Festival of Christmas, the East Riding County Choir will be performing Handel’s much-loved oratorio Messiah in Beverley Minster on Saturday 14 December.
The East Riding County Choir is singing Rosini’s Stabat Mater and the popular Mozart Requiem in Beverley Minster on Saturday, 4th May, 2013, starting at 7.30 pm. Alan Spedding is conducting and the East Riding Sinfonia, Leader Patricia Mitchell, is accompanying the Choir.
