The last 2 weekends have been a busy time for Beverley AC’s distance runners at a number of events across the country.
A busy weekend for Beverley AC saw runners represent the club at 3 events, The East Hull 20, The Lincoln 10k and The Coniston 14 miles in The Lake District.
Beverley AC junior athletes were in action over the weekend, competing in the 35th Cross Country Challenge at Baysgarth Park, Barton on Humber.
Beverley AC sent a team of 10 men and 1 woman plus a large number of juniors, joined the field at the Humberside County Championships at Weelsby Woods, Grimsby, last Sunday.
In a successful day for Beverley AC, four of its runners made the top 10 places of last Weekend’s Haltemprice 10k.
Sunday saw the second running of the Yorkshire Marathon in York. This race is run in memory of Jane Tomlinson and profits from the race go to that charity.
