The National Conference League Committee has with regret decided to suspend the 2020 season after clubs have only played a couple of league fixtures each.
As a result of this, it means Beverley ARLFC will see their season called off. News of the league’s decision has left Beverley’s coaching staff disappointed.
Beverley ARLFC produced a near-perfect performance to knock out the BARLA National Cup holders Thatto Heath at the Beverley Leisure Centre.
As a result of their win, the Blue and Golds have booked their place in the competition semi-finals. Beverley will now go into the hat alongside Siddal, Kells.
The blue and golds will resume their tough pre-season this Saturday. Beverley ARLC will again take on National Conference opposition in the shape of Hull Dockers.
The East Hull outfit should again provide testing opposition for Scott Taylor’s men. They were relegated from NCL Premier to NCL 1 last season and are looking to re-build.

The Wakefield based outfit, who ply their trade in National Conference Division 3, are one of the oldest and longest established amateur rugby league clubs in the game and should provide the hosts with the ideal test. They are effectively just one division above Beverley.
Beverley ARLC will get their pre-season under way this Saturday with a trip into Hull as the club confirm their first friendlies ahead of the 2017 season.
With training now in full swing for the blue and golds in preparation for the fourth-coming 2017 campaign the club will start to look to get game time under their belts so they can hit the ground running.
