A summer programme has been announced by the Armstrong Centre, which has recently renovated the former Armstrong’s Sports and Social Club on Grovehill Road.
The month of August will be filled with events for children of all ages.
On Saturday 12th February, the Armstrong Centre officially opened its’ doors to the public.
Based in the former Armstrong Sports and Social Club, the Centre offers exciting, new community space to the residents of Beverley.
Beverley Baptist Church has signed the lease on Armstrong’s Sports and Social Club building to use for their Sunday meetings, and plan to make the venue available for community hire during the week.
Beverley Cherry Tree Centre has awarded £4,000 by the Tesco. The Charity which is based on the Swinemoor Estate won the money in recent customer poll.
The poll which was held at the Tesco store on Morton Lane will now be used to fund a project to improve safety.
