Beverley To Host World Barge Pulling Championships

The annual event of the World Barge Pulling Championships is due to take place in Beverley. Held on the Beverley Beck the event is will take place on Sunday the 29 September from 11AM.

Beverley Barge Preservation Society organises the event in association with Teamac. They are hoping to build on the success of previous years.

Mermaid Donated To Beverley Barge Preservation Society

The Beverley Barge Preservation Society today was presented with a new boat named ‘Mermaid’. Mayor of Beverley Peter Astell was there too supporting one of his named charities of the year.
