Beverley & East Riding Golf Club have donated over £3,000 to a local NHJS trust. Funds were raised by members of the club which is located on Beverley Westwood.
The club says the charity was chosen as many members at the club hold The Queens Oncology Unit at Castle Hill Hospital in high regard.

Generous members of Beverley & East Riding Golf Club helped last year’s Captain Jeff Worrall raise more than £3,000 for local charities.
Mr Worrall said he was delighted to present cheques for £2,000 to Becky Read representing MacMillan Nurses and £1,080 to Jan Stainforth of Beverley Community Lift.
Beverley and East Riding golf club is set to receive over £26,000 to restore the Westwood’s iconic 200 year old Anti Mill, from a pot of cash paid by developers to support recreation and leisure projects.
Last March, East Riding ward Councillor, Denis Healy, encouraged local community clubs to come forward to bid for the money, known as “Commuted Sums,” which is earmarked for leisure and recreation projects.
Jeff Worrall the captain at Beverley & East Riding Golf Club says the club is very grateful after Peter Ward Homes funded a complete set of flags for the course.
Mr. Worrall explained that over the years the facilities at the club have lacked the attention they need and the club are having to find the fund needed to carry much needed repairs.
Beverley and East Riding Golf Club will host a very special event later this month when Bobby Kewley along with two friends will attempt to play four rounds of golf in a single day.
