Beverley Racecourse was not the only Beverley venue packed to the doors on Ladies’ Day. David Simmonson had a lucky escape at Beverley Races. On board Aygous in 5pm Yorkshire Racing Summer Festival Starts Saturday Handicap Stakes, Simmonson was thrown his off his mount out of the stalls as Aygous lost his footing.
