Beverley ARLC hosted Haworth Park Rangers at the Beverley Leisure Centre this weekend. The Blue & Golds have not had many wins this season but on Saturday, everything clicked as they thrashed Rangers 50 – 11.

This was probably Beverley’s most disappointing performance of the season at the Eastmount Community Centre last Saturday. They managed to field a fairly strong lineup with only Gavin Proctor a late withdrawal due to injury.
The blue and golds get back to league action this Saturday with a trip to face Lambwath Lions. Lambwath now play their home games at the Eastmount Community Centre Longhill.

The blue and golds bowed out of the Tom Beautiman Cup on Saturday at the Beverley Leisure Centre. They had ample opportunity to win this tie and will again kick themselves for not making the most of their chances in attack.
The blue and golds will be very disappointed to have not taken both points from this encounter at Haworth Park. They led 12-0 after 15 minutes and were 22-14 up with just 15 minutes to go.They clearly have the ability to win games like this but a little bit of tactical naivety at times proved to be their undoing.
Both these sides served up a quality pre-season friendly for the big crowd that assembled at the Beverley Leisure Centre. The West Riding outfit gave Guy Adam’s side just the kind of tough examination he was looking for, and he will draw many positives from it.
Beverley Braves came up short on Wednesday night despite a great effort in what was their first game in a fortnight against the green and golds of West Hull who seemed to settle in the wet weather much quicker than their hosts.
The blue and golds will finally be in action on the field this Saturday when Leeds based outfit Wortley Dragons will be the visitors to the Beverley Leisure Centre kicking off at 2pm.

On another wet Summer day, the Beverley Braves U8s started in typical fashion, Jacob Parkinson driving through the heart of the Wyke defence leaving Samuel Shrimpton space to run down the line to score the opening try.
It was a beautiful evening in west Hull on Wednesday as these two teams entertained the crowd in a thrilling seesaw affair that went down to the very last minute.

The Beverley Braves U9s took on an East Hull at Longcroft School on Tuesday. The Hull side went into the match with a perfect which they maintained with victory over the Beverley Braves.
In driving wind and rain Beverley Braves under 10s, severely depleted by holidays and illness, put in a huge effort but fell just short against West Hull.
