For the 4th year running Bridget Conroy has organised a Charity Ball at Lazaat. The was set up to raise funds for Jacob’s Well Appeal, a Beverley based Charity.
Jacob’s Well is well known for their work in the area which sends medical, agricultural & educational aid to the poorest people in the World.
Jacob’s Well Appeal have expressed their gratitude after they raised over £9,000 at their annual charity ball held at Lazaat.
Now it in its third year the ball is a key fundraiser for the Beverley based charity that supports venerable people both home and abroad.
Local charity Jacob’s Well have expressed their gratitude to Lazaat Hotel after their kind-hearted gesture significantly helped their fund raising efforts.
The Lazaat Hotel in Cottingham supported the charity by donating a meal and staff meaning the charity was able benefit from every penny that they made at their charity night in November.
Caterina Colombi, 86 and resident at Claremont House along with her daughter, Lucia have been supporting Jacob’s Well for several years by knitting and crocheting blankets and clothing.
When Jane Spence, activities co-ordinator at Claremont House heard about what they were doing she wanted to help.
