East Riding Car Park Permits To Be Extended For Free

Drivers who have bought season tickets (permits) for council car parks in the East Riding are to have them extended for free for two months.

The decision comes after East Riding of Yorkshire Council made all council car parks and pay-and-display bays free of charge until Sunday 31 May to show its support for frontline workers and volunteers during the coronavirus effort.

A large stretch of the East Riding coast will for the 27th year welcome over a thousand anglers from the UK and abroad for the Paul Roggeman European Open Beach Championship (EOBC).

The three-day beach fishing competition will take place from Friday, 6 to Sunday, 8 March, with the opportunity to compete for tackle and cash prizes out of a total prize fund of £35,000.
