Residents Encouraged To 'Be a Bike Hero' During National Bike Week

A series of events have been planned to promote cycling in Hull in celebration of Bike Week (10-16 June 2024).

Organised by national charity, Cycling UK, Bike Week is the UK’s biggest awareness-raising moment of the year for cycling and a chance to highlight all the benefits that riding a bike can bring, both for health and well-being and more widely in terms of the positive impact it has communities and the planet.

Child Sexual Exploitation Awareness Events At Paragon Interchange

Humberside Police are teaming up British Transport Police and other local partners as part of a campaign to raise awareness about child sexual exploitation and identify children at risk.

As of Wednesday 15 March officers from both forces will be taking the opportunity to educate young people in stations with information about the signs and risks, in the hope that this will arm them with the knowledge to protect themselves from being susceptible to the risk of grooming.
