August has been a positive month for Beverley based sidecar racers of Sam and Adam Christie with strong results at the 2 rounds of the British Championship.
Cadwell Park was the venue for the opening round with 2 qualifying sessions and 2 races being the main focus.
Round seven of the British Superbike Championship was held around Thruxton, the UK’s fastest circuit, and notoriously known not to be kind to tyre wear.
Saturday saw Beverley racers, Jordan Rushby (Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship), James Westmoreland (Dickies British Supersport Championship), and Sam Christie (Rider) along with passenger Adam Christie (Hyundai British Sidecar Championship) complete qualifying sessions in their respective championships.
Beverley racer James Westmoreland competed in round seven of the British Superbike Championship (BSB) around the notorius Thruxton circuit in Hampshire on board the Gearlink Kawasaki ZX-10R.
Qualifying saw him place the Kawasaki thirteenth on the grid with a 1min 15.2sec lap. As racing got underway he dropped back to eighteenth after a slow start.

In a race marred by red flags and cut down to eight laps from the original 15 Dominic Usher rode to a fine eighth place in round nine of the National Superstock 1000 championship at Cadwell Park on Sunday.
Dominic Usher from Beverley rode to a strong 11th place in round eight of the National Superstock 1000 championship at Thruxton over the weekend to move into 11th place on 29 points in the overall rider standings.
It was a weekend to forget for G&S Racing Kawasaki at Cadwell Park when the two National Superstock 1000 riders Tom Fisher and Dominic Usher were forced to retire with machine problems.
All three G&S Kawasaki Racing riders completed their races at Oulton Park on Saturday. Dominic Usher was ninth and Tom Fisher 28th in the Stock 1000 while The Flying Dutchman Kevin Van Leuven was 10th in the Stock 600 class.

Young racer Jordan Rushby has enjoyed some good pre-season testing in Spain. The 16-year-old Beverley motorcyclist has spent three days testing his Yamaha YZFR6 Superstock bike at the Cartagena race circuit with his new a.l. joinery Racing team.

Donington Park turned out to be a disappointing weekend for Wyberton based G&S Racing Kawasaki as the weather again played its part on Friday; and during his race Tom Fisher was punted off his machine, race over before it began.
