Abby Skye has shaved her head to raise money for Children in Need. In turn students and staff at East Riding College came up and slicing chunks of hair off her head, which was then shaved down with clippers before a razor was used to remove the rest of hair.
Pupils at Beverley High School held a rock concert in aid of Children in Need. Guitarists, solo singers and contemporary keyboard players performed in front of a crowd who had all paid a £1 to hear them

Staff at the Kings Head Pub raised over £800 for Children in Need by cycling the equivalent of Lands End to John O Groats on an exercise bike. A bike was set up in the Beverley boozer and for five days the team at the Kings Head took it in turns racking up an incredible 1057KM.
