Chloe Hopkins, The Labour Party candidate in Beverley and Holderness, has welcomed Labour’s Pledge of Compensation to 1950s Born Women Hit by State Pension Age Rises
The Labour Party has announced that in government it will introduce a scheme of weekly payments to compensate the 1950s born women who were unjustly hit by the Tories’ State Pension rise.
Candidates Standing In Beverley & Holderness for the upcoming general election have been confirmed.
In all, there are five parties looking to win the support of residents in Beverley & Holderness and win a seat currently held by the Conservative Party.
Campaigners in Beverley and Holderness today welcomed Labour Party plans to rescue our National Health Service with a £40 billion extra cash boost for the NHS.
Under these plans, cash would include funding for 5,000 more GPs and 28,000 extra nurses, midwives and also health visitors.
Labour Parliamentary Candidate Chloe Hopkins has officially launched her campaign. Standing in Beverley & Holderness, Ms Hopkins will contest a seat currently held by Conservatives.
Members of the local Labour Party and also Emma Hardy, who is also looking to be re-elected offered their support.
Chloe Hopkins has been selected as Labour’s candidate for the Beverley and Holderness constituency. She will now stand in the general election 2019 that will be held next month.
Ms Hopkins was confirmed as the candidate by the local Labour Party. She said she is proud to have been selected.
