Beverley and Holderness MP Graham Stuart has praised 22 year old Beverley resident Jordan Moor for the hard work he does campaigning and raising money for defibrillators in East Yorkshire.
Jordan Moor, who is a key member of Graham’s Community Access for Defibrillators in East Yorkshire ‘CADEY’ campaign, has raised over £25,000 since June 2017 and helped many local communities install AEDs.
Beverley and Holderness MP, Graham Stuart, says the community is fully behind his efforts to improve access to life-saving defibrillators after he hosted a summit for local fundraisers and the emergency services.
The MP, who for many years has championed greater awareness and availability of Community Public Access Defibrillators (CPADs) across East Yorkshire, said the conference had helped build a strategy for improving provision and education across the region.
Fundraisers from the Tickton Defibrillator Campaign will meet with MP Graham Stuart following the installation of two new defibrillators, in Weel and Routh.
As part of his HEART campaign, Graham has been raising awareness of the need for Community Public Access Defibrillators and their locations throughout Beverley and Holderness.
The council’s Local Grant Fund 2014/15 is open for applications from town and parish councils to apply for up to £3,000 for projects that will benefit local communities, with this year’s focus on community resilience.
