Celebrations for Care Home Open Day were extra special at Claremont House, Beverley as the Home celebrated its 1st anniversary.

Staff and residents welcomed guests to enjoy a “Big Commonwealth Lunch” as part of the Global Friendship campaign, choosing to create dishes from New Zealand – including mouth-watering lamb roasted with garlic and rosemary followed by mixed berry pavlova.

A new group, called ‘Tomorrow’s Youth’, has been set up in Beverley to offer those aged 55 and over weekly activity sessions which are designed to increase physical activity, create new friendships and lift spirits.
