The council is holding a series of information events during Foster Care Fortnight (May 14 to 27), at which people who may be considering fostering can find out more about what is involved.

East Riding of Yorkshire council is holding two events in September at which people who are interested in becoming a foster carer can get more information. They are welcome to attend one or both of the events.
Could you be a foster carer? That is the question that will be asked by the East Riding fostering team during Foster Care Fortnight (8 to 21 May 2017)
The theme of Foster Care Fortnight is ‘foster care transforms lives’ and the team is urging people who are thinking about becoming foster carers to do it now.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council is looking to recruit new foster carers, particularly for children aged from five to 15.
A ‘Find out about Fostering’ information event will be held on Thursday 26 January 2017 at Tickton Grange Hotel, near Beverley, at 6pm, when anyone wanting to find out how to become a foster carer is welcome to go along.
Could you be a foster carer? That is the question that will be asked by the East Riding fostering team during Foster Care Fortnight (16 to 29 May 2016).
Prospective foster carers should ideally be over 25, they can be single, married or co-habiting. People with or without families, heterosexual, lesbian or gay, can be foster carers.
Have you ever thought about becoming a foster carer? That will be the message at an information event being held at Tickton Grange Hotel, Tickton, near Beverley, on Wednesday 24 April, at 6pm.
