Beverley Athletic Club’s athletes faced a very muddy five and a half mile cross country race last Sunday, as they competed in the fifth and penultimate event of the East Yorkshire Cross Country League held at Welton.
Beverley Athletic Club’s athletes put in an excellent performance at last Sunday’s East Yorkshire Cross Country series race, with members coming first in both the men’s and women’s races.

Conditions were perfect for running last Sunday when the final race of the 2012 / 2013 East Yorkshire Cross-Country League took place at Sewerby. It was firm underfoot with a few muddy sections and unusually for Sewerby there was no wind.
