Primary School Learning Resource Launched About Japanese Toys, Arts And Crafts

To accompany the popular exhibition, ‘Reflections of Japan in East Yorkshire’, which is still on display at Beverley Art Gallery, East Riding Museums have launched a new online learning resource for primary schools, all about Japanese toys, arts and crafts.

The video-based resource explores the fascinating world of Japanese culture and investigates the connection between Beverley Art Gallery and Japan.

Entrepreneurs and small businesses in The East Riding of Yorkshire celebrated the launch of their new Business & IP Centres opening in Beverley Library, Bridlington Central Library and Goole Library.

The launch event in Beverley Library was attended by 24 people, who were impressed with the range of resources available and will be coming back in their own time to explore them further.

Get Online Week 2021 In The East Riding At Beverley Library

East Riding Libraries are encouraging residents to ‘Get reading, Get listening and Get watching’ for Get Online Week 2021, which runs from Monday, 18 to Sunday, 24 October.  

During the week, there will be members of the library team on hand at sessions in Beverley and Bridlington North and on the Gilberdyke Mobile Library to help anyone to start using the huge digital library of eBooks, audiobooks, digital newspapers, magazines and streaming services available completely FREE to East Riding Library members.
