In response to the completion of the Strategic Outline Business Case for reestablishing the York to Hull rail link, Graham Stuart MP, a passionate campaigner for the line for many years, is encouraging residents to share their thoughts on the Minsters Line.

The next phase of the campaign for the new Line will be an Engineering Study that will show how it would be built so that the plan for the Line can be oven-ready.

In the area of healthcare, education, and housing, the new Armed Forces Covenant Duty, which came into force on 22 November, requires relevant public sector bodies to demonstrate ‘due regard’ for the Armed Forces community and the Covenant principles.

It was recently announced that the East Riding of Yorkshire Council would transform the Treasure House in Champney Road, Beverley, into a Beverley Hub, combining several existing council services under one roof.
