An open day held at Beverley’s Queensgate Allotments has not only raised awareness of the benefits of ‘growing your own’ fruit and vegetables, it has also raised over £450 for charity.
Beverley Town Council in association with the National Gardens Scheme (NGS) is holding an Open Allotments Day on Sunday 29th July from 12 noon until 4pm on the Queensgate site.
