Councillor Nigel Wilkinson has been elected as the new chairman of East Riding of Yorkshire Council following the authority’s annual general meeting.
Councillor Wilkinson, who has served as vice chairman for the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has been a councillor for the Howdenshire ward since his election in 2014.
