Local MP Graham Stuart, the Member of Parliament for Beverley and Holderness, has secured additional time for Parliament to debate the impact of imposing VAT on static caravans.
Local MP Graham Stuart, the Member of Parliament for Beverley and Holderness, today led a delegation of Conservative MPs from across England and Wales to meet a Treasury minister to discuss the impact of the proposed imposition of VAT on static caravans.

The Humber Bridge played host to a new running event last weekend. The gruelling 12-hour Hell on the Humber endurance race started at 7 o’clock on Saturday evening and finished at 7 o’clock on Sunday morning. Temperatures soared to 30°C last Sunday as more than 1500 people took part in the Humber Bridge Half-marathon. The Freedom Run by the East Yorkshire Motorcycle Action Group grouped up in Beverley at Riverside Café. Around 1000 bikers took part in a ride which ended with hustings on the Humber Bridge.
