CONNECT Partner, an IT system that allows police and partner organisations to share information on one core policing system for the first time. It has officially been launched in East Riding.
The IT new system will now allow police in East Riding to provide a bespoke service to proactively manage issues around specific individuals, locations and offenders, in order to test and identify its benefits.
A group of youngsters has given the transport charity, Beverley Community Lift, a boost with a donation of almost £280 to help its passengers, following a busy summer.

A former prison officer who was found guilty of nine counts of rape and one of attempted rape of six different women has today been sentenced to a total of 28 years at Hull Crown Court.

The East Riding Youth Offending Service has become the first in England and Wales to score full marks in an official inspection.
HM Inspectorate of Probation has given East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s service an overall ‘Outstanding’ rating. Inspectors looked at 12 aspects of the service’s work and – for the first time – awarded the top rating for all areas.
