Local Beverley based dance school ‘Street Beatz ‘ entered their dance crew ‘Scribble’ in the Yorkshire regional street dance championships in Sheffield this month.
Beverley Whitestar’s last home game of the season kicked off at Broadgates instead of their usual Leisure Centre ground but the change in venue didn’t cause any problems as the Whitestar team took control of the game from the kick off.
The East Riding Girls Football League match took place at a windswept Beverley Leisure Centre and both teams took a few minutes to get settled. Mill Lane United were the first team to adapt to the conditions and they soon began pressing the home team
Beverley Whitestar came from behind to earn a draw against the Driffield Wildcats at the Beverley Leisure Centre. Whitestar took the lead through Immy Wright though Driffield scored twice to take the lead. With time running out Whitestar were in danger of losing their unbeaten record till Wright, with just 8 minutes remaining scored her second goal of the game.
