Snaith First Beverley Runner Home in Ferriby 10

Twenty athletes from Beverley Athletic Club competed in the Ferriby 10 last weekend.  It was the first club handicap race of the year and conditions were perfect for the challenging ten mile road race which starts and finishes at Skidby Mill. Smugglers Trod 2010

Seventeen members of Beverley Athletic Club travelled to Robin Hoods Bay last Saturday to take part in the Smugglers Trod challenge event on the North Yorkshire Moors. It was an eventful day with some excellent performances, a spectacular stumble and several cases of getting lost. Mucky Duck 2010

This year’s Mucky Duck 8½ mile race attracted a record entry and 229 runners completed the challenging multi-terrain course around Driffield last Sunday. Windermere Marathon 2010

The fourth annual Brathay Windermere Marathon took place last Sunday and 9 brave athletes from Beverley Athletic Club tackled the challenging 26.2 mile course around Lake Windermere. Unlike city marathons which are relatively flat and where thousands of spectators provide encouragement, Windermere offers beautiful scenery, a testing hilly course and few spectators.
