Poma, the local business that makes and sells Artisan Gelato and Italian food continues to flourish in Beverley’s Historic Core.
Their ongoing success saw the business celebrate their third anniversary since opening in St Mary’s Arcade, North Bar Within.
Italian family business Poma, who have a cafe on Walkergate in Beverley, will next month celebrate a year since opening their gelateria in St Mary’s Court shopping arcade, North Bar Within.
Poma Piccolo is a stone’s throw from their retired business Rolando’s which the family closed at the end of 2015.
Since Beverley got its own out of town multi million pound retail park it would be easy to forget the things that actually make Beverley a unique and attractive place to visitors.
St Mary’s Court, located in the stunning North Bar Within is one of those places and remains the only place that offers an indoor shopping experience in the historic town.
Organisers of the Beverley Festival of Christmas have hailed this year’s event as the most successful yet, with an estimated 60,000 people attending the festivities on Sunday, 11 December.
The festival benefitted enormously from an increased footprint, which took in North Bar and Flemingate.
Rolando’s have been celebrating as it is two years since they launched their artisan gelato range.
