Members of Beverley Athletic Club travelled to Leigh in Lancashire last weekend to compete against teams from all over the north of England in the Northern 6 and 4 Stage Road Relay Championships.
Athletes from local running clubs gathered at Great Hatfield last Sunday to take part in the Hornsea Third Marathon. The race was a designated handicap race for Beverley Athletic Club and the club fielded a squad of 28 runners.

Temperatures soared to 30°C last Sunday as more than 1500 people took part in the Humber Bridge Half-marathon. Runners raced round the narrow streets of Beverley town centre last Friday in the annual Beverley 5k Classic which preceded the National Circuit Race Championships for cyclists. Following the same course as the cyclists, runners completed four laps before crossing the cobbles to reach the finish in Saturday Market.
